Supporting marginalised people through shared meals and experiences
This grant will help continue the work of a community project that supports local homeless and marginalised people through shared meals and activities.
Collins Street Baptist Benevolent Society operates the Credo Café which is a place where social barriers are broken down and isolated and disadvantaged people are connected to the wider community. The cafe is run by a group of volunteers, all of whom are homeless and/or marginalised themselves. Community members come from all walks of life, including those who are homeless, economically disadvantaged or disabled.
