Developing culturally appropriate creative resources for Indigenous children
The grant will help design culturally appropriate program resources to help Indigenous children bridge the gap from their native language to standard Australian English.
DSF is a WA not-for-profit organisation committed to ensuring that children and adults with learning disabilities are supported and provided with the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Funding will help design program materials to improve literacy for children living in a remote aboriginal community. Emphasis will be on developing culturally appropriate resources that help bridge the gap from native language to English.
