Gold Coast Seniors keeping up with modern technology
This grant will fund the purchase of equipment to conduct digital technology workshops, making modern communications skills more available to elderly community members.
Founded in 1997, Seniors OntheNet aims to teach seniors (over 50s) how to use and enjoy computers and communications technology. This includes using software and services for PCs, laptops, tablets and smart phones. The current focus is on more modern equipment. They deliver approximately 1,600 lessons per year, mostly one-on-one student/teacher or in small groups in our rooms.
