Community garden for unemployed and economically disadvantaged
This grant will fund a community garden project to help unemployed and economically disadvantaged locals access healthy food, make friends and learn new skills.
MTHCS's catchment area ranges from Murrayville to Ouyen to Sea Lake. Their vision is to be the healthiest rural community in Australia by providing a range of community and allied health services within each town such as childcare, planned activity groups and Neighbourhood Houses. Programs related to health, welfare, social, educational, recreational services, computer and first aid training are provided.
