Computers can be fun: Teaching digital capabilities

This grant will help to up-skill disengaged youth and adults from remote Indigenous communities, teaching them digital capabilities to help them use the internet in their everyday lives.

Ngoonbi was established in 1975 to improve quality of life, health and access to affordable and quality housing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Their objective is to eliminate social disadvantage and increase participation within the community through a range of programs focused on areas such as empowerment, youth, sports and recreation, housing and community care, employment and learning and training.
