Digital workshop to educate remote Indigenous communities

The grant will enable TEABBA to purchase a new digital video camera and provide training to Indigenous people in remote Top End communities through workshops covering all aspects of digital media, including camera work, radio broadcasting, editing, interviewing and recording techniques.

Top End Aboriginal Bush Broadcasting Association (TEABBA) is a not-for-profit remote indigenous media organisation providing operational support for the 29 remote Indigenous broadcasting units in Aboriginal communities across the Top End of Australia. TEABBA's vision is to develop a network that allows Indigenous people the opportunity to share stories, issues and educate through the use of broadcast technology.
