Natural disaster education to improve community resilience

This grant will fund a project that provides community education to help residents prepare and respond to natural disasters in a safe way.

Profile

Since 1977, Sunbury SES has served the communities of Sunbury, Diggers Rest, Bulla, Wildwood and Clarkefield. With dedicated volunteers from all walks of life, Sunbury SES is a disaster response agency. Their primary response capacity is in technical rescue (road, air, industrial and rail), general rescue, flood and storm emergency response, search and rescue, as well as fire and police support roles.
